It’s one of the first things most people notice on the STRAUSS work pant. But each pocket has been developed based on feedback from workers and strategically placed to help you on the job. For example, we have cargo pants with zip pockets and multi-pockets that feature secondary interior pockets to help you stash nails and screws. Our innovative phone pocket is comfortably on the thigh, making it easier to answer calls if you’re crouched down. We’ve even gone through the effort of reinforcing our pockets with materials like CORDURA® to ensure your contents are under the utmost protection.

Double kneepants, pants with knee pad pockets, our gear is here to serve when you’re hard at work on your knees. That’s why we’ve paid careful attention to the material and structure in this area. Some of the knees in the work pant are reinforced with sturdy CORDURA® and others feature an abrasion resistant blend of T400stretch + CORDURA®NYCO, which provides more flexibility. We also follow a “top loading” philosophy in that you can insert knee pads directly into the legs of your pants, which removes the hassle and pains of knee pad straps.

High quality fabrics are the building blocks of great workwear, and we take our fabrics seriously here at STRAUSS. Each work pant has a special blend of fabric and material that makes it unique. Take our e.s.vintage collection, which is built from a nylon-cotton blend. It’s your standard work pant but with some extra stretch. The e.s.motion ten features a similar nylon-cotton but is made using a twill weave for sturdiness. Similarly, our e.s.concrete light pant is built from the same material as the e.s.motion ten; however, we’ve made it a bit more lightweight. For the e.s.iconic, we’ve kept it simple. It’s a cotton pant with a bit of stretch. And our signature e.s.motion 2020 is a polyester-cotton blend that moves with you.

Built to get the job done, our e.s.motion 2020 is a true workhorse. They’re made from a sturdy twill fabric. Its ergonomic cutlines are designed to prevent tugging as you move, and the seams are triple stitched for long-lasting durability. The knees, back pockets, and cargo pockets are all reinforced with CORDURA®. In addition, the pocket placements are specific to help you on the job. Depending on the colorway, it features high-vis and/or reflective elements for when you need to be seen. And each leg has a zipper that reveals a mesh vent, a great feature if you’re required to wear a work pant, even when the weather is warm. Ultimately, they're durable pants with plenty of storage and safety features, perfect for men on an active job site and the kind of worker who needs a go-anywhere, do-anything pair of pants.

Light work pants by weight but not by toughness. Our e.s.concrete light work pants are made from a polyamide fabric that’s lighter than your traditional canvas material. We’ve also found our fabric to be more abrasion resistant than cotton canvas. The material has some stretch to add comfort and reduce pull as you bend or kneel. You’ll notice some simpler, more streamlined pockets than some of our other pants, and the flex waistband is great for moving with you.

With a slightly tapered cut and a modern look, the e.s.motion ten is an asset on the job site but with a style that’s at home anywhere. When you put on these men’s work pants, the first thing you’ll notice is the elasticated waistband. This ensures they fit well and prevents tugging as you bend over. The fabric is a blend T400 stretch + CORDURA®NYCO, which is a high-cotton, nylon blend originally developed for military use. It’s rugged and durable, but is a bit stretchy for some added flex and comfort. The hand pockets have wide openings and a large capacity. The cargo pocket is multifunctional and features our horizontal phone pocket, perfect for when kneeling or squatting. Work smarter and keep comfortable with the e.s.motion ten.

Icons are icons for a reason. The e.s.iconic pant is our most traditional-looking work pant, cut to a relaxed fit and with fewer pockets than our other styles. We’ve added a couple updates to make this pant a great choice for the modern workshop. We’ve taken the cotton fabric and added a two percent blend of elastane, so they retain the casual look and will get that aged look over time. When developing them, we wanted to make sure no durability was sacrificed, so we’ve reinforced heavy wear-and-tear areas with triple seams to keep them sturdy for years to come. There’s a reason this look has kept up over time.

The classics never go out of style, but they can still be updated. And that’s what we’ve achieved with the e.s.vintage work pant. This is your signature work pants with that familiar canvas texture; however, we’ve upgraded the canvas with a Nylon-cotton fabric, which maintains the ruggedness you’ve come to expect while improving comfort. Look down, and you’ll see that functionality is at the forefront. On the left leg of this work pant is a spacious pocket with a concealed zipper and a second large compartment to stow away some gear. On the right is a similarly spacious pocket as well as a specially placed, adjustable cell phone pocket, so your phone is always secure but handy while you're crouched down on the site.
