Los Angeles, CA — World-leading workwear brand Engelbert Strauss Inc., also known as STRAUSS, is teaming up with LAFC once again to empower local trades businesses in the Los Angeles community with their 2nd annual trades content.

In collaboration with LAFC, STRAUSS is continuing its proud “STRAUSS Trades Business Booster Contest,” to celebrate and support local trades-based enterprises. One lucky business will be awarded a $5,000 cash boost as well as a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience at LAFC’s match on March 7, 2026, at BMO Stadium.

“As a family-owned business in the third generation, we’re thrilled to support small businesses and the professional tradespeople of Los Angeles in a meaningful way,” says STRAUSS CEO Henning Strauss. “This initiative reflects our ongoing passion and celebration of the skilled laborers and entrepreneurs who are the backbone of the city.”

Last year, ESB Plumbing, a family-owned plumbing operation from South Los Angeles was announced as the grand prize winner. They started doing business in 1987, honoring the legacy of owner Eldrick Bone’s father who inspired him to pursue a career in plumbing.

Owner Eldrick Bone shared that the prize was a much-needed lifeline for his business. With it, he was able to take on a new technician and purchase much needed equipment. He credits the Strauss business booster with helping him achieve record-level success this past year.

He states: “Strauss calls it a business booster and it absolutely did just that. Thank you!”

By supporting hardworking professionals like Eldrick and his team, Strauss is proud to play a small part in the ongoing success stories that keep Los Angeles moving forward.
